1. Acceptance and scope
1.1 Agreement
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Corvallis3D LLC ("Corvallis3D," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website, creating an account, uploading files, requesting a quote, or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1.2 Eligibility
You may use the site only if you can form a binding agreement with Corvallis3D. Corvallis3D does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 18, you may use the site only with permission of a parent or guardian.
1.3 Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The version posted on this page is the current version. If we make material updates, we may revise the date shown above and post the updated version here. Continued use of the site after the updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms.
2. Services and orders
2.1 Our services
Corvallis3D provides online quoting, file submission, design review, 3D printing, and related manufacturing services. Quotes, pricing, lead times, shipping options, and availability shown on the site are estimates and may change until an order is accepted and payment is approved or other arrangements are expressly confirmed.
2.2 Lawful use and file responsibility
You are responsible for the files, models, instructions, and other materials you submit. You may not use our services for unlawful, unsafe, or prohibited purposes or to produce items that infringe another party's intellectual property or other rights.
2.3 Order acceptance and refusal
We reserve the right to refuse quotes, reject uploads, cancel orders, limit quantities, or terminate service in our discretion, including when we believe an order violates these terms, presents operational risk, or cannot be fulfilled as submitted.
2.4 Lead times, deadlines, and changes
Lead times, shipping windows, and expedited options are target timelines, not guaranteed delivery deadlines, unless we expressly confirm otherwise in writing. If you have a hard deadline, include it in your order notes or contact us before payment. Requested changes after quoting or payment may affect price, timing, materials, or availability.
2.5 Shipping and local pickup
Shipping carrier timelines, transit delays, weather events, and similar matters outside our control can affect delivery. Local pickup may require scheduling or appointment coordination.
3. Accounts and security
3.1 Account responsibility
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs through your account.
3.2 Accurate information
You agree to provide current and accurate account, contact, shipping, and payment-related information where requested.
3.3 Account access
You may not transfer your account to another person or entity without our written permission. We are not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from theft or misuse of your credentials.
4. Customer files and intellectual property
4.1 Ownership of the site
The site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, software, and related materials, are owned by Corvallis3D or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
4.2 Your files and submissions
You retain ownership of the files and materials you submit, to the extent you own them. By uploading or submitting files, you represent that you have the rights necessary to do so.
4.3 Limited license to perform services
You grant Corvallis3D a limited license to store, review, reproduce, prepare, and use your submitted materials as needed to provide quotes, manufacture products, fulfill orders, handle support, maintain business records, comply with law, and operate the service.
4.4 File retention and backups
We are not required to retain submitted files indefinitely. File retention, deletion, and backup practices may vary based on operational needs, order support, recordkeeping requirements, and the privacy practices described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Third-party services
5.1 External links
The site may link to third-party websites or services. Those third parties are not controlled by Corvallis3D, and we are not responsible for their content, policies, or availability.
5.2 Service providers
We may use third-party providers to support hosting, authentication, payment processing, communications, storage, and related business operations.
6. Disclaimers and liability
6.1 Site disclaimer
The site and services may include errors, interruptions, or inaccuracies. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site and related services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Custom manufacturing results may also vary from digital previews, model assumptions, dimensions, colors, or requested specifications because of file quality, process tolerances, material behavior, machine limits, and finishing methods.
6.2 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Corvallis3D and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, use, or business opportunity arising out of or related to your use of the site or services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
7. Dispute resolution
7.1 Informal resolution first
Before starting a formal claim, please contact us and give us a reasonable chance to try to resolve the issue informally.
7.2 Arbitration and small claims
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, then except where prohibited by law, it will be resolved by binding arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act before a single neutral arbitrator administered by the American Arbitration Association. Either party may instead bring an eligible claim in small claims court.
7.3 Class action waiver
To the extent permitted by law, disputes must be brought on an individual basis and not as part of a class, collective, or representative action.
8. General terms
8.1 Oregon law
To the maximum extent permitted by law, these Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
8.2 Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the site or services at any time if we believe these terms have been violated or if continued access creates operational, legal, or security risk.
8.3 Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms of Service is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. These Terms of Service govern your use of the site and supersede any prior terms relating to that use.
